MUGLER X h&M... WHAT TO EXPECT

H&M has done it again with their latest designer collaboration, this time with Mugler, and it's shaping up to be one of their sexiest collections yet. The line features a range of corsets, slashed leggings, and body-con dresses that are set to drop on May 11, and is expected to be a huge hit among fashionistas and fans of the iconic French fashion house.

Casey Cadwallader, the creative director at Mugler, has been responsible for the brand's ultra-sexy aesthetic since joining in 2018, and his signature style is evident throughout the H&M collection. In addition to bringing Mugler's provocative look to a wider audience, the collection also pays homage to the brand's late founder, Manfred Thierry Mugler.

"We are proud to celebrate the legacy of Manfred Thierry Mugler with this collection," said Ann-Sofie Johansson, creative advisor at H&M. "It was a great honor for us to meet Manfred and it's very special that he was there with Casey and the House of Mugler in the early stages. Casey has done an incredible job paying tribute to history and the archive while keeping the collection totally contemporary."

The collection features a range of paneled skinny jeans, slinky frocks, and sheer hosiery that are sure to turn heads. It's no surprise that the launch was attended by A-listers such as Pamela Anderson, Chloë Sevigny, and Charli XCX, who were all there to celebrate the new line.

This is not the first time that H&M has teamed up with luxury labels, with the mass retailer having previously collaborated with a number of high-end designers. In 2004, H&M's first designer collaboration was with Karl Lagerfeld, which was quickly followed by partnerships with a slew of other big names such as Stella McCartney, Viktor & Rolf, Kenzo, Lanvin, Versace, Maison Margiela, and most recently, Simone Rocha.

The H&M x Mugler collaboration is expected to be another huge success, with fashion enthusiasts eagerly anticipating its release. The line combines Mugler's iconic aesthetic with H&M's accessibility, offering shoppers the chance to own a piece of designer fashion at an affordable price point.

Overall, the H&M x Mugler collection is a fitting tribute to the late founder of the fashion house, while also introducing a new audience to Mugler's provocative style. The collaboration is a perfect example of how high fashion and high street can come together to create something truly special. With the launch just around the corner, it's safe to say that fashion lovers everywhere are eagerly anticipating the arrival of this exciting new collection.
